HOW:

Yes, I know - it's been a while. Honestly, I've been to 19 food trucks, and I've been recycling through them. I've had my favorites and started to go to them normally. Then comes a non assuming truck, called Tasty Kabob. One of my coworkers had it and really liked it, and the rest of guys were having a truck I've been to plenty times.

The review

This truck made me rethink why I wasn't venturing out to try new trucks? I am a huge fan of the halal cart in NYC, so I had some pretty high expectations. However, per my previous reviews, you can see I've been disappointed in expectations in the past, so I tried to tame the expectations a bit. While the new york cart still reigns supreme, this is the best DC has to offer - and it is very close as delicious.

WHY:

9 wheeler review. I had the chicken and rice, with a side of potatoes and mild sauce. The chicken was very tender and the white sauce really brought out the flavor. I was very surprised with the rice. If I have a meal with rice and all the meat is gone with left over rice, I usually would just throw it away. But with this rice - I finished every grain. Definitely looking forward to getting this truck again! Happy eating.
