WHAT:
takorean.com/. Korean Taco stand.The menu:
WHERE:
Franklin SquareAfter about a 5 minute wait till they got everything set up, we were the first to get our order in. I ordered all 3 types of tacos along with kimchi slaw, with the works. This is definitely a fusion. While there is no predominate flavor, neither the bulgogi nor the kimchi, there is a definite distinct taste. It is definitely worth a try as this does not taste like your normal korean food nor does it taste like your taco stand. It is a unique blend.
HOW:
On day 3, the crew wised up on the food truck lines. According to takorean's twitter, they were landing at Franklin Square at 11:45am. It was actually their first official day, so we didn't risk it and left at 11:30am when we are right across the street. We get there and to our surprise there was nobody in line.

The Review

Why:
This food truck gets a 6 wheeler review. While it is a unique blend, I was expecting to get a more taste of either Korean or Mexican. Disappointingly, I don't really get either one. Kim chi and Bulgogi usually have a bold taste, but I didn't get that with these. Perhaps, this is what the truck was going for, but in the end - I was left needing a bit more from these tacos. It is something you do need to try atleast once!
